Description / History:
Small mouth–blown glass bottle with tan, taped label reading, "T.T. 1001/ Cold No. –". This bottle was manufactured for C.A. Dimon in Philadelphia.
These tablets were used to help fight a simple cold.
Ingredients include:
Tincture of Aconite– Used to treat early signs illnesses from a feverish cold to pneumonia. When manufactured the right way, is also a very deadly poison. Comes from the plant commonly known as Monkshood or Wolf's Bane.
Tincture of Camphor– A common remedy to fight the common cold.
Tincture of Gelsemium– Useful against fevers and headaches.
