Description / History:
Blue cast iron scale with a claw crow foot base and a single brass arm and marker. The capacity for this scale is 24 pounds and was made by Fairbanks Scales. Fairbanks Scales was an industrial manufacturing company founded in 1830. This scale predates 1916, because during that year, the Charles Hosmer Morse acquired control of the company, changing the name to Fairbanks–Morse Company.
