The Foundation’s collection has grown to over 10,000 artifacts, including books, photographs and medical instruments documenting and reflecting the healing profession’s history. Much of the collection has been catalogued and  selected artifacts have been exhibited in hospitals, colleges, and other institutions.

Currently, the Foundation has three exhibits at Lancaster General Health in Lancaster:
the "Family Medicine Exhibit" on the 3rd floor of the Downtown Pavilion, the "Pharmacy Exhibit" just outside the LGH Convenience Pharmacy on the first floor and the "Lancaster General Health History" exhibit in the Lime Street Hallway on the first floor. There is also a new exhibit of early 19th century medicine at the Rock Ford Plantation.

As the process of identifying and cataloguing artifacts continues, we will both make them available for more exhibits and begin to place them on display on these pages.
